The Globe and Mail, specifically Patrick Martin, did an important service today by exposing some truth during Operation Cast Lead.

Martin exposes the lie perpetrated by the UN that Israel scored a direct hit on some of their buildings, killing 43 people.
The IDF has claimed that it was retaliating against rocket fire emanating from the courtyard, and evidence has just shown that the shells did in fact land in the courtyard, killing people that were milling around outside.
Obviously, it still is a tragedy that 43 people died, but to compare 43 people dying in what the UN claimed was a deliberate attack on their school, and 43 people dying standing in an unguarded courtyard where rockets had been shot from is ridiculous.
Again and again Israel is blamed for events that they did not perpetrate, leading to anti-Semitic acts, and a skewed view of Israel.

Kudos to the Globe and Mail for running this story.
They have once again proved that the UN are a bunch of Schmucks.
